for all you god tier home gymers out there i found a great deal at wal-mart today

40lb vinyl dumbbell set for $15, 2x 7.5 plates 2x 2.5lb plates. now anyone who buys plates knows they're average $1 per pound

picked up a few of them and was able to put together some great dumbbell setups for high volume training, each db can get up to 35lbs. was also able to put together little 10lb dumbbells for the gf to use

i've only got got one-piece 40-50-60 dbs for 5x5 sets, and 12 and 45lb plates for the barbell....

needed something for the high volume sets, nice reading bro

i gotta say using it last night, doing 5/60, 7/50, 10/40, 15/35, 20/25, never got a pump like that before.. this was an excellent addition to my home gym :D

I can't even bring myself to curl anymore, I just throw in weighted chin ups at the end of a few workout days

Yep, i mean you have rowing movements that incorporates biceps. But other than that I do weighted chin ups ( body weight - 185 , and a plate (45)) I don't count the weight of the brute belt..

Ill usually do 5 sets or so of whatever I get , ill start lighter than 45 and work my way up.

I'm not looking for some perfection or peak, I am just looking to have nice/large arms. You can achieve some big arms through compounds.

it can get annoying how long bicep curls take sometimes. pecs, tris, shoulders, all these i can work out at the same time, but biceps feel like they take a long time

you might be onto something
