I have been actively going to the gym lately. ~3-4 days a week. So, commitment is no longer an issue.

However, the issue I am having is finding a plan that will help me increase my mass and strength. As stated in the title, I am 5'7 and 135 lbs.
I do have a hard time putting on weight, but I know I need to increase my caloric intake. I have been working on that as well.
I am very thin and I am very weak (for a lack of better words).
I know I desperately need to increase my upper body strength, but I am not certain as to how to go about this in an organized manner.

I have access to two gyms.
LA fitness and my universities gym. Both facilities are fully loaded with all the equipment anyone could dream of. I am just not certain as to what I should actually use.

So, please... can anyone help me?

Heck, I am even willing to pay for assistance or for someone to guide me/"mentor" through my "journey."

Thanks!

Yes, I know I post a ton...

First you should decide what is MORE important to you, mass or strength. There are optimal ways to train each. If you want mass, you will want to be on a hypertrophy plan. That being said you will still gain strength while training for mass, and mass while training for strength.

Well, probably mass first.
I mean, I am weak.. but as you said, I will gain strength gaining mass.

Can try a percent based power lifting plan if you wanna focus more on strength.
Or you can just follow a standard upper/lower or push/pull/legs split focusing on progression.

Still need to get your diet in check first.

If you are willing to pay money for a customized plan and a daily followthrough, Id recommend pming 7 deadly sins.
He knows his stuff, and can definitely help you gain mass/strength if you follow what he says.
You will need to stay 100% commited though.
