Bit of a background story:

I've got pretty much everything I need for my home gym minus dumbbells. I had an adjustable set of crappy standard plates but when my room mate left he took them.

Had been trolling kijiji for dumbbells for months, waiting to pull the trigger on a set. Was almost going to buy a pair of power blocks for $390 when I found this steal for $550.

I messaged him immediately, only 4 hours after he posted, but garnered no response. Looked again and the ad was down, thought I missed out.

Next day the guy emails me saying the other buyer didn't show up, asked if I was still interested.

Explained yes but didn't have means of transportation, asked if he would deliver. We decided on dropping the price to $500 and I'd rent a cube van to go get them.

Needless to say, I don't think I could've gotten a better deal:

10lbs-60lbs Pro Style Dumbell Set (plus 3 tier rack)

Olympic Ez Curl with 2x 25lbs, 2x 10lbs and 2x 5lbs:

Key fitness incline/flat/decline bench (not shown an attachment slot + leg brace):

Everything is mint, hell they were covered in dust they hasn't been used in so long.

Didn't realize this about these dumbbells, but the plate at the end is easily removed/tightened so you can actually change the weights.

Already have a bench and EZ curl (mine was actually more curved, so now I have 2 different along with my triceps and Olympic bar).

Will be tossing the bench on kijiji, although its a really nice bench, far better than mine actually, it unfortunately doesn't fit my attachments. Having already invested $300 on them and being unable to find attachments for this bench (did some research, they don't make this bench anymore it seems) just gonna take the extra cash to get the last 2 I don't have (leg curl/press).

Overall really happy with the find, had to share with the HnF, still shocked I got it this cheap.

Still need to take better pictures, but here's the gym prior to the dumbbell set.

As you can see the dumbbells went into the closet where the attachment tree was, it's now on the otherside.

Still have a bunch of posters to hang and some cleaning, will get some better angles then.

It's honestly the angle of the picture, to get a better understanding of the size / if you're interested in a progression check this:

I'm totally doing this backwards, but here's some earlier shots. This is when we got proper flooring throughout the room, cut to fit and everything, was a pain but man what a difference.

Also keep in mind the squat rack and bench are very easily moved to clear room for when you hit the bag.

Frankly all you need in a gym is:

- A squat rack that has handles for pullups (or just buy one of those things you put in the door frame do to pullups)
- A bench press
- Weights (dumbbells and plates)
- An actual olympic 45lbs bar.

You can add your punching bag in there too.

That's really it. And you can get fkin massive doing that shit.
