what type of effect does rep variations have on muscular growth?

Example:

4x12

instead:

1x12
1x10
1x8
1x6

or even:

1x12
1x12
1x10
1x10


Nah mean?? What effect does switching up the rep styles have on the body?

Its marginal. Pick a style and do it for at least 3 weeks then change it up if you want to.

Yea, this is probably why you've never had any successful clients, because after two years your only one is still benching 195 for 8 reps.
