Started this week already hit workout A on Monday, doing B today. It says up each exercise by 5 pounds PER workout? Does that mean every other day or every week? I recall it being every week...

It literally says "every workout" on the main 5x5 Stronglifts page.

If you work each muscle group once a week, which is what I'm assuming that what they are assuming in saying increase 5lb per workout.

Okay so I'll bump each compound movement besides Deadlifts up by 5, and then Deadlifts by 10 per week

5lb per workout

e/ squats theoretically should be giong up 15lb/week all other 5-10lb depending if you hit them once or twice that week

5 lb per workout for a novice

5 lb per week for intermediate

To determine whether ur novice or intermediate is not how much you know about lifting, how long you've been lifting or how much you lift, but how long it takes you to recover from your workout

Novices can recover every other day and train again at the same intensity

Intermediates will need longer periods, hence 5 lbs per week

also adaptation is slower the longer youve been at it

so yeah, what he said

its a guideline, dont increase your lift if it means fucking up the movement, just try not to fall behind

also dont listen to turtol

I'm sticking to 5 Lbs per week for every movement, and then 10 a week for Deadlifts. I couldn't picture myself bumpin up squats by 5 per workout. That's 60 pounds a month...
