here I am going for 12 reps in a warm up set, then 6-8 reps for some pretty difficult sets and then squeezing out 4 ish reps on a few very difficult sets.

then I hear from Rich Piana that muscle growth largely depends on getting a pump in the muscle, which is easily achieved by high reps and reps till failure. is that just because he is referring to what people should do on steroids or for everyone (including us natties)?

Didn't watch vid but there is merit to this.

Google fibre damage / muscle saturation

It basically means the pump helps

does that mean a mixture of high reps low weight to get a good pump + heavy weights for low reps is optimal? as opposed to SOLELY going for heavy weights and low reps
