Well I don't know what the English word is for it but he's got what we'd call big 'viker' which are the parts of hair where the hairline is receding. Maybe its just called receding hairline in English?

Yeah it's receding and thinning. The thinning actually looks a lot better since I stopped using shampoo.

[edit] and I'll implement shoulders once I start school and see what my schedule is like.

I think you'd be fine using shampoo 1-2 times a week, you don't need to cut it out completely.

is there REAL evidence that shampoo causes premature hair thinning / loss ?
maybe a 5th workout incorporating chest and shoulders?

Seriously? Aren't their specific types of shampoos that are designed to help with thinning hair?

My overly obsessed with fashion and style friend who happens to have a sister who's a hair dresser keeps telling me how thin my hair is and that I need hair thickining shampoo :p
