if you're in the 1000lb club on the big three, what should you be snatching/ clean & jerking ?


Never done power cleans, snatches or clean & jerks but I'd figure I'd start.


Need to build dat der male cheerleading strength/explosiveness


I asked a P.T. at our gym if he could show me the movements: "Nah brah only if you pay by the hour ($120) you can buy a package of 10 hours for just $1100 if $120/hr is too expensive for you"

Pts at a gym probably wouldn't know anyway. Start out with just the bar or add a 25 to each side if you want. You won't need to clean very much anyway because the girls you toss are like 90 lbs man

Well this PT 'specializes' in powerlifting and those types of lifts. I can already db press more than the weight of some of the girls let alone what I bb press - but it feels different / different muscles being used etc.


Plus, I'm not just picking up 100lbs or so, I have to effortlessly toss those 100lbs.

Lifting a 100kg barbell over your head isn't the same as lifting a 100kg rock over your head, nom sayin m8? in order to pick up a 100kg/220lbs rock you need to be lifting a helluva lot more than 100kg/220lbs with a barbell

Lol that pt charges $120/hour? Pathetic

My pt at my university charges $30/hour and he IS a power lifter ... Squat and deadlift are both 500+

No real correlation, you need to have mobility aswell.
Go to your local Athletic Club and you will get free or extremely cheap help from competetive lifters.

E: How much do you fucking OHP since you DB press more than the girls weight?
