Yup google doesn't have any conclusive shit. FYI I'm not talking about the effects on the high, but rather the effects on my mental health.
I read that depression could be highly linked to low levels of serotonine. And when smoking weed you get an increase, followed by a significant drop.
Now, if this antidepressant is supposed to balance out the chemicals, but I keep smoking weed (which may have been partly the cause of my problems), would it actually negate the effects of the antidepressant.
Balla knows chemicals, balla knows weed, I'm hoping balla knows these chemicals + weed and whether or not it could be cause for concern.. Or if 1 cone, every second day won't do shit
What type of Anti-Depressant are you on?
Serotonin and Dopamine are implicated in Depression.
Marijuana does produce an increase in serotonin then after levels drop to a lower point than what they were at baseline.
It would depends on what type of anti-depressant you are on.
For example: If you're taking SSRIs then it may have little to no affect due to your body not producing serotonin at normal rates where it would even take advantage of blocked re-uptake.
SNRIs may bring back to baseline or higher but I'm unsure if the increase in serotonin from both would cause any physical/psychological harm.
Are you in therapy for your depression?
I would just consult with a trained mental health professional.
