game plan , shed some fat, once i do that ill probably be under the category of skinny fat, from there obviously i don't want to continue trying to cut and end up pinner. so is bulking the best bet? just a bit over maintenance so i don't become the fat bulk look ? any advice on this subject ? is a strength based workout routine a good bulking one ? or would hypertrophy make sense...or..or..help

Small kcla surplus is probably your best bet. No point in getting like a skeleton before bulking. You'd probably end up regaining your fat anyways.

I'm at around 205 right now, when i first dropped down i was at about 170, and not like a skeleton still had a lil chub but i was decently strong. got injured so now I'm starting back up cause i gained a lot of fat back. is a slow bulk once i drop down a bit my best bet?

Why would you want to drop and then bulk?

I dont know how old you are, or what you want to look like.

Ill tell you what i think you should do, anyways:
Dirty bulk for a good 3 years and then slowly cut them calories. This is the fastest way, according to my broscience competence, to gain serious musclemass.

Also, dont shave your bodilg hair, ever.
