I've struggled with weight ever since I was about 3 years old.
I was living in portugal for 16 years of my life, which I was chubby, but not obese, I was weighing about 210 pounds at 16,
then I moved to the U.S. ... which by now you already know where this is going, long story short, I'm 18 now and I weigh 265.
It's been something that's been there all my life and I have no idea how it is to live life without it.
I'm not saying that I've been depressed my whole life, even with that issue, I always managed to get around girls, know how to dress, etc, it's just kinda always there.
I just feel like if I lost all this, my whole life would completely do a 360, but no matter how motivated I am to do it, it seems like I always think "Fuck what everyone thinks, i like this food" and then end up hating myself when looking in the mirror
It's just excuse after excuse that I find to avoid losing weight, but I want to do it so bad, it's such a contradiction that drives myself crazy

It just seems that I can't get a wake up call soon enough, I want to change already :(

If you're not happy now, you definitely don't want to do a 360.

if you're unhappy with your weight and feel helpless it's because you don't understand why. Consider this, can you pinpoint why you don't look the way you want to look?

Because I'm lazy.. There's no way around it, I can't help it but rather stay laying down all day watching netflix rather than go jogging

you don't even need to exercise, you can continue to watch netflix just eat less/healthier...

what i found that really motivated me, was taking a picture of myself with a camera, it's a very different view than just looking in the mirror.

Well, do you want to change or not? If you can't commit to wanting change, then you'll remain the same brah.

Start by learning how it all works. You gain, maintain or lose weight based on calories. You can either increase your activity levels to lose weight (we're talking about sustained increase over several months and/or years) or you can restrict your calories so you are consuming less calories. I would advise taking on a recreational activities that are physical, such as basketball, weight lifting, hiking. You don't necessarily need to jog or run to lose weight, you can walk/hike at a moderate pace instead.

Doing a 360 will bring you right back to where you started.

Just start working on a diet, pickup regular exercise, throw in some good music, and stick to it.

We can't do it for you.

I was 170 lbs at 10 or so.

Was still a fat fuck , then in grade 11 I made the life style change of eating healthy (somewhat) , exercising , counting calories etc and I've never looked back .

This. Hitting 205/210, I realized I could have been worse for my build but I saw fat really starting to develop. But I never took the gym seriously enough until I REALLY wanted to make that change.
Long story short, if you don't give enough shits to help yourself for positive reasons, no one can help you.

Now I love the feeling of bodybuilding and managing my food. It's just a fun personal thing for me.

Really contradicting to say that you want it soooo badly, and then not show it in your actions. If you wanted it bad enough, you'd do it.
