I'm 6'4'' and 215 pounds, im pretty lean, I can see my top abs showing. However I feel very very skinny, despite being able to deadlift 365, bench 245, squat 285, and OHP 165.

I have put on 15 pounds this year body building and have been working out for 13 months now. My BMI is 26.2 which is technically overweight, but due to muscle >>> fat I look tiny compared to people <6 foot.

I want to be 245, which is only 30 pounds. I feel that I could gain 30 pounds this year if I eat dirty (I eat clean as fuck currently). This will put me at a BMI of 30, do you think I will be bulky at 6'4'' and 245?

Rambled a lot, questions, comments, rage welcome!!

Bmi is only relevant if you have no muscle.

Like you could have a Bmi of 30 but also have 10% body fat ... To say a person like that is overweight makes no sense.

One word. Eat.

Not dirty, not freakishly healthy, just get carbs/calories in your body that don't consist of greasy fast-food burgers and taco's. Lots of protein filled choices like chicken breast and/or fish, along side that eat pasta, rice or potatoes.

Think about how much you eat on a daily basis now (which is healthy) and double that! For more support, take protein shakes a few times a day but time them correctly.

What helped me bulk quickly:
1. Always making sure I took a protein shake immediately after working out.
2. Eating a big ole 3-4 egg fried egg sandwich before bed.
3. Instead of eating 5-6-7 small meals a day, try eating 3 big meals a day with one snack before bed.
4. Don't workout after not eating for 2+ hours. I always would eat, digest for 30-45 minutes then head to the gym. You'll basically burn the food off and not body weight is how I look at it.

Oh and eggs. Lots of eggs.

(Keep in mind this is just my advice, not a professional opinion)

Too add:

You are a big boy, kinda like me. I'm 6 foot 9 and 268 pounds right now. We need more than most "normal" stature males. It sucks and you probably have a high metabolism as well. Pack on the food brotha.

I'm 6'1 and my BMI says I'm overweight, but my body fat hovers around 11-12%. BMI is a horrible scale that doesn't take many factors into consideration.

Post #3 is correct - 215lbs for your height is ideal actually.

If you "feel" too skinny, then you're not eating right.

It also depends on your body type; are you prone to be naturally muscular, etc. in addition to the type of sport you may participate in or the image you want to create for yourself.

you are pretty small no offense at 6'4'' 215, i am 6'3'' 220 probably slightly higher bf, so be patient, don't eat dirty, and just tack on solid mass.
