For the instance of a cold (neck up), ive also read it can be overall good to do a moderate workout
Only if the symptoms are congestion, and minor stuffiness and nasal drip.
But if you have a fever, regardless of whether it's above/below your neck you're going to go catabolic and lose your gains since protein requirement increases (amongst other macros/micros) with a fever.
