So I'm trying to lose weight so I'm drinking 2-3 kale/banana/strawberry smoothies in replacement of the take out food i typically eat. I feel like i'm starving lol.

I know i need protein and probably more fiber in my diet. I have seen 500 different "whey protein" powders and that's probably what i need.

What can I add to my smoothie that wouldnt really affect the taste, is affordable, and will fill me up.

Keep in mind I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT, NOT BULK UP AT ALL! I barely work out other than running/eliptical.

Thank you :)

50 fg goes to the person who posts the 1 i purchase.

it sounds like you're not getting enough calories in them.

just general things that can be good to add to smoothies/shakes for extra calories:
olive oil
whey protein
dry rolled oats (oatmeal)
milk
peanut butter
nutella
eggs
yogurt

I know you want to lose weight but you still need to eat a reasonable amount of calories

Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey Protein.

Vanilla goes well with smoothies. That's what I use. And I use Double Chocolate with milk for my other shakes.

GNC or Amazon. GNC has buy one get the other 50% off sometimes.

I am currently on steroids for a medical reason. I need to consume under 1200 calories a day to maintain my weight

Powderized oats, if your blender can manage it.
Peanut butter.

There are many different kinds of steroid hormones with differing effects (not all steroids stimulate lean mass development like test dpes) but Im pretty confident when I say that no steroid will kick likely 1000kcal off your BMR, an even greater difference when exercise is calculated.

More on topic, you don't have to starve yourself with veggie and water smoothies like you hear about people doing on TV and in magazines. You just need to eat the right amount of ANY food such that your body must break down stored energy. The deficit you eat at should be small to moderate in order to avoid losing valuable muscle mass.
