lets cut the crap, i've been working out since 2 years, and when i first begen, i did only push ups, and it builded my chest somehow, it grew a little, however if your a NEWBIE, that a little is gonna get you starring at the mirrior everyday, and after 1 year im in the gym, i still do 500 push ups a day, its the best exersice do get you QUICKLY PUMPED, and ripped to shreds, notice, i use push ups still one of the best exersies there is, and for you big Chest guys Push ups is the best exercise, to get your chest riped and shoulders, and back, but you must change work out routine, like put your legs up on the table, or what i do, if you have a 11 year old sister who weigs like 75lbs stand on your back while doing it, its great, but i only can do 20, and thas enough before i fall, and can't get up for some timeHhowever don't do push ups everyday, if your muscles are sore they need rest, for example, if i go to gym and work out my chest, once x week, i don't do push ups the next day, if you worked any other muscle group, go aheadand do push ups everyday, if you DON'T FEEL SORE!, most of the time i do push ups, for conditioning,unless its a chest day work out, i included in my routine, the last thing before i leave the gym, but agian, if you fell sore don't do push ups! you can do em forever if you don't feel sore, it willnot give you a big chest, but Strengh and a good quick pump!
