Parents always stop my little sister from having sugar because she goes wild when she has it.
But to me it's just because she gets sugar so infrequently that she does not know how to control all of that extra energy. Should they continue keeping her sugar intake to a minimum?
It drive my grandma mad when she offers my little sister something and my step mom is like no she's had enough sugar.

I don't think a kid would realize anything until the parent takes away the "sugar".

Agree, I think most kids are just rambunctious by nature

Absolutely not! Let your toddler drink all of the soda they possibly can through their sippy cup.
Childhood diabeetus ftw!

Only if you consistently load her up on sugar every single day for 10-20 years then yea she might develop some sort of insulin resistance. IMO nothing will really happen since she's young.
But if I were your family I'd restrict a growing child's junk food intake completely. As in 100%.

How old? Kids really shouldn't be having too much, a little bit is okay tho.

No one should be eating processed sugar at all.
