I've looked through tons of threads on here and all of them are body building related lol
what about basic health tips? I'm not super in shape; need to lose weight. Here are the things I've cut out of my diet:

- Bread products
- red meat
- sugars / excess salt (as its pretty well impossible to avoid it)

I feel if I hadn't been drinking like 8-10 cups of water per day that I'd be enormous xD any other suggestions on what else is good to take out / add to my diet? I've been enjoying leaner meats like chicken/turkey. They even taste better than most red meats I've eaten

Also, I'm looking for great workouts to burn fat. No shit cardio seems to be #1, but anyone have a good regiment that delivers results? and I'm not impatient, I know results take time, but I'm looking for a change in my life

TL;DR - want to lose weight. Need advice on what to cut out of diet. need good workout plans to help me lose weight

Threads here do have advice for you!

And why're you asking for a workout if you know cardio is #1? Play a sport, its better than plain running

if you wanted to get into lifting, google "stronglifts 5x5" it's a 3 a week program that's meant to burn fat, if you wanted something more intense than just plain cardio try high intensity interval training, or just google "HIIT"

You should probably cut calories out of your diet.

What is your reasoning for cutting bread, red meat, and sugar?

Try starting strength if you haven't lifted much before.

Most importantly learn about calories and marcros, those will be your biggest tools in recomping your body. HIIT (High intensity interval training) is very rewarding cardio in terms of time vs results.

Two other amazing tools are macro / calorie calculators (a quick google away) and sites with food logs so you can easily track what you're eating.

stronglifts > starting strength for weight loss. they're basically the same program but i think SS is more for people looking to bulk up.

They're terrible for your diet, even if you're in great shape

I remember a great HIIT program my grade 9 phy. ed teacher showed us (I lost like 45+ lbs in that class) but lost motivation somewhere on the road lol
so I've got a comprehension on the whole cardio thing, what about strength improvement? Are push-ups/crunches overrated? I'm also trying to be careful as I got hit by a car ~5 weeks ago, my vertebrae isn't fractured anymore but my back still gets sore once in a while
