I had 1 for my old car but it messed up my back so I got a new therapeutic lumbar support cushion thing but now I Have a new car that has a bomb seat so no need.

Usually I just see cushions for this but it looks fine, maybe a little excessive you'll have to test it out.

The guys curve in his back is the exact same in both pictures; the drawings of the vertebra are just different...

the curve is not the same

he is slouching and a bit hunched over in 1st pic

although can just be corrected by sitting upright

also the pic is meant to sell the product so for sure is a bit misleading at least

but still, curious if this would help?

It Doesn't help it messed up my brother and I's back, so we had to get a cushion one that strapped to the seat.

In the first pic some of his lower vertebrae have left his body and are in the chair. That's obviously not good for you.

This. It messed up my back to where a point it hurt to sit/drive in any car including the one i was driving with or without the lumbar supporter. Just messed it up.
I have a new car now and my back has finally adapted back.

The best posture is a posture that changes through the day. Back support cushions can help but ultimately if they keep you out of your natural position, if they make you have to reach or go into uncomfortable positions or they don't allow much movement, I would not recommend it just on common sense.
