I almost got into a fight with my neighbor about me speeding down my neighborhood street.

I was going pretty fast without knowing it and he was compete dick about it and was screaming out to me as I got out of my car.

So I went to him I guess like an idiot because I felt bad about it because under normal circumstances I would be him screaming at cars down my neighborhood.

We had an exchange of words me apologizing and him talking shit so I don't know if after the tempers flare should I continue life as normal or when the dust settles again apologizing for my actions.

I might I almost got into a fight with this dude which means nothing but if it got serious it would have ruined both of our careers. I work for the govt and he works as a fire fighter for the state so if the police got called we would have both been fucked.

i didn't read all of it but i seen speeding and neighborhood if you got kids around there make sure you let him know that it isn't cool to do that ...beat his ass if you have to

That's my problem we both have kids and I was the one speeding down the street this time to get to my own. My own issue was his hollering at my car so I get out to see what his problem was.. Of course it was for me speeding down the street at 11pm but I explained myself to him that I wasn't paying attention and apologized but his reaction was incredible for the fact that I was sympathetic and sorry for my actions. It was almost like me driving down the street faster than normal wasn't his issue at all.... It was towards me so I don't know how to mend this situation? we live close enough that he walks his dog and I see him passing my street everyday so should I talk to him about this or ignore it?
