i know i'm an old man so i say two thousand sixteen!

i hear all the younger people say twenty sixteen though so i was curious as to how General Chat pronounced 2016 irl when spoken out loud!

i put the other option there for people that pronounce it differently!

I also say twenty sixteen

i don't think there's a right or wrong way of pronouncing it! i'm just curious how everyone on jsp pronounces it!

have always pronounced it in two separate words my entire life. nineteen XXXXX twenty XXXXX

that actually makes total sense.. i've always pronounced the 1900's like that too!

i would pronounce 1985 as nineteen eightyfive for example but when the year 2,000 came around i called it 2k and then two thousand and one!

i lost the 'and' part somewhere and called it two thousand one!

you don't ever just slip up and say two thousand sixteen?
