so i've noticed there's more users in the d2 sf's than the d3 sf's

anyone still play both? is d3 still worse than d2?

Skill system in D3 needs an overhaul but people who say it's terrible just have those nostalgia goggles on. D3 has more to do than D2. They're both pretty great games, especially after all the updates to D3 now. It's in a pretty good place if you like co-operative hack n' slash gameplay. Obviously PvP is still a washout.

if u like pvp, play d2; if u like pvm, play d3 or d2

There is one scenario in which d3 is worth playing. if you have 1-2 friends and enjoy the lvling and 1-2 days of gearing at max level.

After that you grind for weeks to find a few slight upgrades, its simply not enough in the loot table to reward binge gameplay.

PvP might be the worst failure in any game sequel ever made. D2 was of course known for its PVM qualities, but its also one of the most played PVP games of all time. To follow that up with a strictly PVM game with only a few halfhearted attempts at creating a workable PVP system was a real joke on Blizzard's part and what will likely stop me from buying a D4 copy until its thoroughly played through and reviewed. I don't even trust them with 50$ anymore.
