Sometimes I see a flash in my periphery. I turn to look and it's gone
Sometimes I feel a unique familiarity with my surroundings and suddenly I am on edge
Sometimes light contours into discernible faces. I blink but they're still there
Sometimes I can still hear a siren after it stops, or did it?
