on a jsp subforum page, there are envelopes. blue, white, and red. what the fuck do they mean? i assumed there should only be two colors: one showing that you've viewed all the posts, and one showing that there are new posts.

well, when a thread reaches a certain length, the envelope becomes red
then the usual lightening occurs if you have read the last page of the thread.
