Can someone please explain this to me? I've never once heard someone say that they didn't like the fact that there were women in it. People keep saying its a misogyny thing like they can't accept that it might just not be a good movie.

i haven't seen it, but i'm skimming the reviews on imdb:

If you've paid attention to the haters even a tiny bit, you wouldn't have this question. :(

No one has said it can't be a bad movie, but the instant hate and vitriol that came out from the moment the cast was announced and the constant barrage of 'women can't be funny, etc' that came along with it has made it pretty hard to do so without any agenda.

Lol, it must be really hard to watch a movie where the only people of your gender are eye candy without agency, how sad it must be to experience.
