I pay my rent on time and still have one year left on the lease

He wants me to leave by end of the month.

Can I sue in any way?


I have no rent control I pay 3.5K a month for a 3 bedroom 1bath

eviction and renters right vary greatly by state, but at face value, he's giving you due notice and owns the property, so I dont see what options you have. Just cause for removal can be for more then just late or lack of late payments.


3.5K per month sounds ridiculously high :o

if you have a signed lease till next year, and he/she do not have a point where you broke the lease, i dont think they can. see if your area has a renter's hotline.
