So my mother was hit by another driver (entirely his fault). and his insurance, GEICO, admited fault and said they will pay for everything. car repairs + medical expenses.The thing that confuses me is that her clinic wants to lawyer up so they can get even more money from GEICO for her medical treatments. I AM REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT THIS? can someone enlighten me.

my mom doesnt know anything, she is clueless. I usually do everything for her. so she just told me thats what the clinic told her. which made me skeptical

so go with your mother and inquire about why they want to lawyer up...

Wow... I mean, if she had a fucked up injury makes real sense. Perhaps paying the bills and everything is not enough cause they SHOULD BE PAYING YOU THAT AND AN ECONOMICAL COMPENSATION like a lot of money

insurance is meant to make one whole, not be some "profit" seeking venture, the whole principle of indemnify. Fuck them lawyers chasing the buck and driving up costs for us consumers.
