Hey folks, been a couple days since I've made a topic.

Johnathan Overmyer here and with my topic of the day.

To fans of musical instruments, which is your favorite one? XD

I personally have always preferred the piano, I may not be the best player out there.. However I think I do alright when I play on it from time to time.

We have one in my living room and I often go on there, or sometimes Gloria or my nephew plays it.
They really excel in playing instruments, probably much better than I will ever be! XD

My nephew's favorite instrument is the Clarinet or Trumpet, however he also likes the piano.
The piano was one of my original instruments I ever played when I was a child, literally almost some thirty something years ago. It's been decades since I began to play, and well I've never lost my love for it. XD

And I am a fan of other instruments as well, and heck my sister Gertrude actually isn't a fan of instruments other than the electric guitar which my brother in law actually likes. He also prefers the drums, they are into heavy metal music though. I prefer classical and opera. XD

Pretty much most of my family from my parents and grandparents, other cousins or aunts and uncles.. Well they each enjoy some instruments as well. Most of them prefer the guitar and a bit of piano play. :D XD

But I think I'm the only one in my family who really loves the piano the most.

Well that's pretty much all I have to say, so my favorite instrument is the piano.


So ladies and gentlemen, which is your favorite instrument? Or perhaps you have a few favorites and can't choose between the various ones? :D XD

Ah hard to say don't think i have a favorite but i have always really liked the Cello

My favourite is the guitar, followed by the piano! XD

I honestly think each instrument that is popular, given the right song, could compete for people's hearts.

The guitar and piano played acoustically are absolutely amazing. Especially Hispanic styled music, which shows off the possible complexity of the instrument. The violin has always been a popular solo instrument as well.

As for wind instruments, they don't go too well alone. They sound nice but they don't make people striken. They work well together, where their different tones and resonances create a myriad of sounds that are pleasing to the ear.

That is my opinion, pretty much.

I like all music though, currently listening to this.

I played the Cornet in junior high and high school. Not the best but I was okay.
I'd probably still be able to play the theme from that old TV sitcom "Coach" on it. LOL

The cello and piano have the purist and most fascinating combination.

Yay Mr. O!!! My good friend, buddy 'ol pal. Great thread as usual. My favorite is the drums. I think they are so cool. I wish I could play them!!!

Cello is the greatest instrument ever ofc... but mandocello is just cool as fuck imo.
