go to duolingo and start hammering out a language that would be useful to you
they have a lousy xp system, but it's sort of game-like in its design.
All the new grammar rules and vocabulary would not only occupy your eager mind, they would also improve your English

I am currently muddling through literal mountains of paperwork for them.
The hardest thing is getting motivated to apply
then the hardest thing is the application process
then the hardest thing is the waiting and worrying
then the hardest thing is all the paperwork and immunizations you must do
if this trend continues, I might faint >.<
