It's a pretty broad term that many people interpret differently.
Clearly, we have something. There's something spectacular about humans. Maybe it's just our spectacular brain's power and we just want to feel special --> concept of soul

Too much brain power can be a bad thing imo why fight it and just believe in what is obviously there
