Well, to be more specific they accepted our offer and we are starting the 4-10 week process of closing on a house, but things are moving and if all goes as according to plan, we will be moved in by August 19th at the latest.

Even ended up below budget on the house.

4-10 week process lol wtf? With a half decent lawyer and banker 2 weeks isnt a problem.

Not sure if it affects the process but we are going with an FHA loan which means we/the house have to meet certain requirements to quality, we have to pass FHA inspection, etc. Not sure if location makes a difference either but we are from Michigan.
