Yea, all the time. I generally find that if I dislike somebody, or a particular character trait that they have, it is because I am reflecting on myself.
Thus I try to imagine how I relate when somebody bothers me and try to put myself in their shoes, then I imagine how I could improve that trait within myself.
If I am comfortable enough with that person, I might also try to help them improve on that trait as well if they want to.
Reduces my anxiety.
