That sounds silly to gain respect for someone just because they liked some menial post you made on social media.

As more of a general sense of agreement, it would be weird if people weren't slightly more respectful towards people who view things the same as them.

people occasionally like music i post, no one likes or comments on any serious posts i make however little i do that

i feel no different about the people who liked the music but it is nice to know someone liked a song i liked i guess
