I assume most people here were in school when it happened. Did they stop class and put a TV so everyone could watch it?

That's what happened at my school. I don't remember having any positive or negative reaction to the verdict, but I remember that all the white kids in my class cheered but I didn't know why they were happy about it.

What's your specific memory of where you were that moment?
