Preferably one popular amongst d2jsp. I'm just wondering what game has the most potential to make the most fg? Via trading, playing, dueling, etc. Honestly just trying to find one that was as popular as D2 during its prime, with ofc the cool community of d2jsp.

Theses ones are the top of d2jsp besides D2.

Your best bet is probably, Runescape, PoE, WoW.

I've heard a decent amount of reviews about PoE. Heard some say it's D2's real successor.
Any thoughts?

To be perfectly honest with you, no game, to me compares to D2 in that genre. It defined it's own, and everything else tried but didn't live up to MY expectations.
I tried PoE, and made it to like level 10 or something, I uninstalled the game. It's not quite for me, a lot of people like it and that's good.
I just didn't really like the classes at all, the attribute system was cool but I think it was FAR too "complicated", not because I didn't understand it, just because I felt it didn't NEED to be that complex.

Sigh, my thoughts exactly. I guess no game will ever be as good as D2... unless they just made a remastered edition of the game- oh god I would be on that like the good old days. I guess there won't be a good game like D2 for us old fags

Yeah that would be awesome, free of hacks and dupes and stuff too. Trust me I feel you, i'm in the "what game to play" limbo as well. I am playing a bit of WoW though.
It was the simplicity of D2 what made it awesome, 4 types of attributes and your skill tree. As you understand the game more, you figure out new things.
I just think the PoE attribute system is way too much.

Yeah I was looking at some game play and honestly that attribute system really pushed me away. But I might consider playing it, just cause of the popularity

Give it a try, my post was in no means necessary to sway you away from the game. Those were just my thoughts.
I just didn't have the passion to play it, try it out for yourself though it won't hurt!
