It's odd, Google's CEO is also Apple inc, director. How is that not considered a partial monopoly? If he has a vested interest in both companies?

Also, A large part of Yahoo is owned by Google through stocks.

It's very common for CEOs of one company to sit on the board of another. It's also very common for the board of a company to be populated with non-employees/officers of said company.
