Why not have endless fields of colonies with just the required organs and cells of humans semi alive?

And I'm just talking about the cells not really a conscious body.

The matrix comes to mind when you say this

Because this would require healthy organs being donated

they need to intake more energy than can be extracted from them because of entropy

Because a human body also takes energy to stay alive.

The perpetuum mobile does not exist. No matter what your setup is, you'll always need to put more energy into the setup than you get out of it.
