With all due respect, are you by any chance forgetful, impulsive and tend to hyper focus on the things you love/like?
Lastly, do you have a creative side or remember pictures and images well?

Throw your phone in the trash and take long walks where you do nothing but think and reflect on your goals and means to reach your goals.

Most important thing is that smartphone though, having access to a screen 24 / 7 turns you into a complete retard.

I have serious problems paying attention to things because I have lots of other things on my mind.
Slow down and figure out what's on your mind, think long on it, then most importantly DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
Then you have one less thing on your mind, so start tackling others. Meanwhile, keep practicing paying attention to something.
Maybe learn a foreign language on duolingo or something, it's not very hard to do. Try practicing for an hour the first time.
THen work your way up to like 2 hour practice sessions. Any time you stray in thought, think about what occupied your mind and if it is something that is bothering you, fix it.
Obviously if you are depressed it is going to be difficult and not seem worth doing, but it is and really just requires that you are doing SOMETHING.
You have a very powerful brain in your head, and not using it can lead to being very depressed. Unfamiliar things and situations where we learn give us much info to collect, good luck :)

das me.

used to be able to visualize very detailed images until drinking, smoking and poor eating became a habit. that's when i switched from drawing to guitar. i've had to deal with a lot of shit because of the way i am. i feel like most of it is my fault, but at least i've come to terms with myself.

i'd like to add that the emotions i feel range from extremely intense to stone cold, even when the stimuli are the same. maybe it's my mind's way of protecting me, or maybe i'm bipolar.

i was also recently diagnosed with an "accentuated personality", which means the doctors probably don't know shit, yet.
