We are getting internet setup at new home. These are the two options we have. Wondering if anyone has experience with either of these and has good or bad stories? We are just getting Internet, no cable/phone etc

The plan I'm currently leaning towards is 25mbps AT&T uverse at $45/month with 1 year contract

I've had At&t they're pretty good. Heard so many bad things about Comcast though

never had comcast, seem to be one of the most hated companies in general

had AT&T U-Verse, was slow, but it was stable, never had problems with it as a service

Uverse hands down

you fuckers are crazy. The only problem comcast has is customer service is shit. But the services they offer trump anything else out there. Fastest internet readily available.

I rarely have outages.


Any reason why you wouldn't get their cable service also? That is also basically the best available too.

My comcast internet is 100+ down and 50+ up even at non peak hours.

I hated my uverse. People around me have hated it too.
I enjoy my comcast. I had one issue with them in the past but other than that, they have been fine for me.

Yeah, I have a version of Comcast (not the name Comcast, but I'm pretty sure they're owned by the same company) and other than some minor issues here and there, it's always fast and reliable.
My mom has been a long time patron of AT&T and her shit is slow as fuck and unreliable /e (I still don't understand why she hasn't switched tbh)
