Yes.
Just a picture of me with a dress shirt/sports jacket.
Wasn't hired through Linkedin, but I've been contacted for at least 50 jobs in the past two years through it.

I don't really update my profile actively, pretty much just have my education/work experience with a 2-3 sentence summary for each job. I do "connect" with most business people I meet though.

I'm actually going to be talking to a recruiter in 30 minutes because he found me through Linkedin.

Also do you get contacted by headhunters when you go into "looking for new job" mode ?

I myself am currently looking slowly for a new job but I'm still employed and connected with the company so no way I'll be activelly posting for jobs on this site.

This has nothing to do with advertising your current company. It's about connecting with peoplw that could lead you to new positions.

I have too many recruiters trying to hire me for their company that I don't use it any more.

It has nothing to do with my performance, only my occupation.
