every time it rings i just want to smash the fucking thing. it's too fucking loud and annoying and the only people who ever call me on that piece of shit are my mother or some dickhead who wants to answer some questions for his survey. god forbid it's someone who wants to sell you some crap. i'm considering chucking that thing out of the window so i could be done with it.

Tell your mother to call your mobile, and kick the land line to the curb. I haven't had a land line in 4-5 years. And even then, the only reason we had it is because my mother-in-law was living with us at the time.

it's there kind of so my grandparents and mom can reach me. they're kind of retarded but you get the idea.

i also have a habit of letting my mobile battery run out and not answering my phone for days so they insist i keep a land line in case "something bad happens".
