In the last 3 years I paid for a new car, paid off my student loan, and put away 20 grand. I have savings to get me through until I choose a new school program or find a new job. I depend on no one but myself and have lived on my own for over a decade.

So not sure what part of my life you're trying to attack with that comment. Do I need to make nunchucks in my spare time instead to be considered responsible in your view?
