Anyone have experience with this like 2 men and a truck or something? Wondering approximate price of how much moving from a 2 bedroom apartment would cost from Des Moines to Detroit

Easily a couple grand. Might want to save a bit by finding a company that'll load a uhaul that you drive away, and another that'll unload it on the other end.

We don't have many contacts in Detroit (so just my wife and I) that can help with it and we have a couple pieces that are about 500lbs. And we have 2 cars so ideally we wanna do it in one go and save ourselves a future 18 hour round trip just to pick up the other car

Likely we will end up doing it ourselves but I'm just wondering what our options are before we figure out who we are renting a truck from
