Since GC on is one of the most knowledgeable places on the interwebz, I figured Id ask you guys!

What is this made of? Wood or bone? Ivory? Walrus tusk? lmao

I dont know much about these things. It looks to be hand carved anyways. Ive had it a long time and have always wondered what it was made of.

Well it looks like a walrus "tooth" but I don't know what's up in Alaska.

Are the smaller ones arrow points ? Where did you get this ? Any contact you could call where you bought it ? Did you read the books yet? Price you paid ? What's the sound when you gently knock on it with your knickles ?

This is indeed hand carved.

Looks like wood, but judging by the hole it the bottom (inside) it looks to be a an even shittier compressed material.

If it's wood, it's a hard wood for sure. Those small marks at the big ends cannot be carved on a soft smooth wood nor even a presswood.

Thanks for the comments guys, I think its wood also. A family member gave me it many years ago. Dont remember much of the convo but I thought wood was mentioned. Yet, I thought I remember them telling me they paid a lot of money for it too. "a lot" is relative though and I doubt it was more than a couple hundred dollars.

Ihateduriel why you gotta have such small font? lol... but yeah the small pieces are feathers, for those that didnt know this is suppose to be a cribbage board.

Shit, I'm skunked for not seeing it's a cribble board and double skunked for the feathers part !

And for the font, you got to get the 5-5-5-5-j with a j-j-j-5 cribble to get your answer !
