Do you get your dog's dew claws(thumbs) cut off?

should, prevents probable injuries/they are pointless

I understand that most dogs just have them free hanging - nothing really attached.

My doge Leon however, has just figured out how to use them while fighting.

This is unfortunate for myself because they are sharp as fuck and he really uses em to dig while I wrassle him.

Nevemind the fact that he punches other dogs while he plays and gets them in a headlock with his forepaws.

Which ultimately makes the other dogs whimper making him the victor.

that's cute and all but when i worked at a grooming shop i saw dogs come in all the time with torn duclaws! :(

i think at least for big dogs they should be removed! it's worse for big dogs from my experience! :(
