First time home buyer? Depends on your credit score, debt / income ratio and other factors but a FHA loan requires less of a down payment. Can also take a withdrawl from a 401k to use for a down payment if it's for a first time house purchase without penalty iirc

If you do a FHA loan, you gotta find an approved FHA home first. Not everyone will go with it since they have to wait 2-3 months for the process. Just because you put down 3%, you need around $15k to $20k in the bank to pay for fees if required. You must be around good to excellent credit in order to succeed.

you can also take low down payments for higher interest and PMI. my coworker doesn't make much either and is looking at 3% down payment.

so you're working 50h/week, 2800$/month pre-tax, maybe 2k/month post-tax? what are your expenses? you got a family of 4 or just you?

RV is quite expensive too

$14/hr with no cash on hand, probably not going to happen unless you have perfect credit with perfect debt to credit ratio.
