I remember churchgirl sayin some shit bout how I can only absorb so much protein a day or per meal


Did some research and some studies prove that other studies are wrong and you can eat all the protein you need in a day in one meal and you will have the same protein levels or w.e as someone who split their protein up into meals throughout the day.

Soo I'd say it's bullshit that u can only absorb / intake 30 grams of protein in one meal.


I eat 30-40 gram of protein per meal I eat... Sometimes a lot more

You usually can only absorb about 20g of protein per hour, that's why people space out their meals to 5-6 a day.

Also vitamin absorption is usually halved. So you only retain about half of what you intake.

If you're taking protein power, it's always good to get both Whey and Casein. You take Casein usually early morning, and mid-late afternoon. You take Whey right after your workout, or within 30 minutes.

It’s widely known that the human body absorbs different proteins at different rates. According to one review, whey clocks in at 8–10 grams absorbed per hour, casein at 6.1, soy at 3.9, and egg at 1.3

This is right, but you need to stay away from chicken and red meat if you're going to be doing that much protein a day. Fish is your friend
