I go walking and stuff, it's just still fairly high impact on my body.
I have to wear a brace on my ankle or I'm in ridiculous pain (which I am anyway)

That's not something to trust according to latest studies. And I lost 80 pounds while eating a lot of carbs myself;

what studies are these exactly? excess carbs are known to spike insulin and result in higher levels of fat storage, not to mention everyone has a different metabolism and different levels of insulin sensitivity so one person's experience isn't exactly going to be the norm for everyone

People that are overweight should focus more on healthy food choices, moderate exercise, and replacing bad habits with good ones

There is a reason most people fail at losing weight and often gain even more.

They need to conquer their food addiction and crashing the carbs isn't the way to start

they need to eat less than they use and focus on nutrition, when bad habits and the addiction is overcome they can then focus on a perfect plan for their body
