I always go for 90 min to 2 hours but to each his own, you don't have to train for that long. You could just deadlift 5 sets real quick and do two support exercises and be done with back day but if you enjoy lifting and have time to spare then why not train more?
Talked about my empiristic experiences with most gymgoers im aware of, here atleast so it was limited but im pretty sure so is your view and image of how psychoactive substances can be used
