I tried just cantaloupe yesterday but it made me sick.

could try Pedialyte, dehydration is the real risk
when you eat or drink something make sure it isn't cold, you'll want it as close to your body temp as possible so your stomach doesn't spasm and induce vomiting
you also could try the BRAT diet

apple sauce
toast
lots and lots of water/ something to replenish your electrolytes
