You are headed into, as you may already know, one of the most if not the most over saturated job markets in existence. 100% of the employees in this field have MBA's and as for higher degrees, everyone has those too. Literally everyone. I should know, I've been working in these cubicle farms for almost 10 years now. This field is rapent with nepetisim and favoritism, which I'm sure you know, so getting a doctorate probably won't elevate your chances by much. I wouldn't odedicated my life, time and money in this field you should go to school for something productive, but that being said good luck

he said pretty clearly that he likes school and so is following his field to its educational conclusion. He said he doesn't expect or care if it elevates his career much, it was a personal goal.
